Annie Wonder (Anna Wallace) is a Los Angeles–based mezzo-soprano, experimental composer, educator, and DJ. Her solo project Annie Wonder, blends operatic voice with space echo, Moog, samples, and vocoder, creating psychedelic, ritual-leaning performances. She draws inspiration from 1970’s kosmische pioneers and is currently in post production on her debut solo album, produced by Maryam Qudus (Spacemoth). Also, Anna will soon release her debut singles with GROOP as her backing band, produced by Bert Hoover.

Anna sings and dances in the band Hooveriii and plays improvised psychedelic rock with GROOP. Her various projects have opened for Silver Apples, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Oh Sees, Sun Araw, Mudhoney and Takako Minekawa.

Her 16mm short film OAO, directed by Rocio Mesa and based on an opera Anna is writing, was an official selection of the 2026 Punto De Vista Film Festival.
